Passive Intakes
Passive intake screens provides for the uninterrupted take of water from lakes, rivers and oceans, while meeting all requirements for fish protection. The system has no moving parts, eliminating the need for costly repairs.
Passive intakes can be automatically cleaned using the Hydroburst TM backwash system, which flushes debris away from the screen using compressed air. Cleaning can be instigated manually or automatically controlled based on time or leadloss.
