About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our Apex Water Team based in Hornby, Christchurch.

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our Finance and Administration team. The role is firstly to handle Accounts Payable tasks whilst being a back up for Accounts Receivable tasks in MYOB while providing general accounts support to the wider team. If you love variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

You’re a natural multitasker, and tackling a high volume of tasks comes easily to you. With your strong IT skills, navigating Microsoft Office is second nature, and you’ll have everything under control with just a click. Your extensive experience in AP/AR and expertise with ERP systems make you a perfect fit for this position.

As a collaborative team player, you’ll enjoy contributing to the development of processes and tools, while also stepping in to assist the Christchurch team with office administration when needed. This is your chance to make a real impact in a supportive and dynamic team!

About you:

  • Strong accounts payable experience
  • Displays outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to a high standard
  • Consistent team player with the ability to work with a variety of people
  • Microsoft Office, MYOB/ERP whizz with immediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Previous experience within a similar industry and role preferred
