Sustainable & Healthier Outcomes

08 December 2021

It’s been a busy time for our team recently beginning work on two water treatment plants for Tasman District Council at Motueka and Whakatane District Council at Braemar Springs and a wastewater treatment plant upgrade at Lake Hawea for Queenstown Lakes District.

"While industrial and municipal wastewater treatment will remain a key focus for us, we are undertaking an increasing volume of work in water treatment plants around New Zealand."

Many of our existing industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment projects are in their final stages and nearing handover.  These include a membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plant for Watercare Meremere, installation of a wastewater treatment plant for apple wash water for Turners & Growers in Hastings, the upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant that serves the Open Country Dairy and South Pacific Meats processing plants at Awarua and a sequencing batch reactor wastewater treatment plant for Cardrona Valley & Queenstown Lakes District Council.

We have also completed works on a number of smaller wastewater treatment plants and water treatment plants throughout the country.  Constant adoption of new technology for sustainable and healthier outcomes is a key part of the Apex business delivery approach and we are working on bringing a number of new technologies to the market in 2022.
